Policing in Baillieston, Shettleston and Greater Easterhouse
The police in the Baillieston, Shettleston and Greater Easterhouse sub division work closely with other organisations in an effort to make the area as safe as possible to live and work in.
The police deal daily with all the issues common in today's society however the main crime issues in the area are vandalism, gang fighting, street disorder and the carrying of offensive weapons.
These issues are not isolated to this area, however, as the regeneration of the area continues, the public are becoming less tolerant of this behaviour. The main thrust of police activity in the sub division constantly addresses these problems proactively.
You can find out more about this work in the Enhanced Policing Plan.
