Family Action in Rogerfield and Easterhouse

Achievements

Rehis Food Hygiene Certificate was gained in conjunction with opening of the café at FARE. This provides that the environment and manner within which food is cooked and served is of an appropriate standard.

Members are also keen to take part in computer classes within the Learning centre, based at FARE. A room dedicated to the most recent models in information technology has provided local people a chance to develop their computer skills with the aid of a tutor. Classes in this area are available on Tuesday nights, between 5.00 and 8.00pm, where guidance from a tutor is available. A number of achievements have also been made with regards to computing at FARE, as users of the Learning Centre develop their skills in IT. For a complete list of all opening times of the learning centre, see the timetable.

Certificates in first aid, employment law and play activities have also been achieved.
