FARE children enjoy being taken on a variety of holidays to different locations throughout the year.

Throughout the holidays, between April and September, FARE will organise holidays for around 100 kids who will be taken on holiday at some point, to various locations throughout Britain. An activities programme will also run through the duration of the holidays during which there will be a number of day trips as well as the running of the normal daily activities.

In recent years local youngsters have enjoyed holidays to places such as Millport, Norfolk, Perthshire, Bath, Wales, the Lake District, the Borders and also Manchester where children took time to view events taking place at the Commonwealth Games (see Sports Coaching section). This provides the opportunity for young people to broaden horizons, experience new places and take part in a range of activities.
