Positive About Literacies

Volunteer Opportunities

There are plenty of opportunities for you to offer your help to organisations throughout the Greater Easterhouse.

Positions Available

PAL - Positive About Literacies Team
Volunteer tutors required for literacy, numeracy and basic computing

New training programme starting February 2004!

Full training will be provided. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to gain Professional Development Awards in Literacies or Learning Centre Management. In addition, volunteers will also be able to undertake ‘European Computer Driving Licence’ - the nationally recognised qualification in computing.

Informal Information Session

There will be an informal information session at 4.30pm on Wednesday 21st January 2004 at John Wheatley College, 1346 Shettleston Road, Glasgow G32 9AT.

Please come along to find out more about our service and volunteering.
