Provanhall House in Easterhouse will be one of the star attractions in this years Doors Open festival, when visitors get the chance to explore some of Scotland's most interesting and unusual buildings - free of charge!

The Doors Open Days in Glasgow takes place on the 18th and 19th September and is being coordinated by Glasgow Building Preservation Trust and Glasgow City Council. A busy program of events at Provanhall House for the Doors Open Days is being organised by a group of dedicated volunteers who will spend the weekend showing visitors around the building and the grounds and explaining about the history of the area.

Members of the Greater Easterhouse Environmental Trust will also be on hand to explain how the Environmental Trust uses Provanhall House to assist with their work with the local communities of Greater Easterhouse.

Further information about the Open Doors Days can be found at www.doorsopendays.org.uk.
