The garden today is modern and does not show what historically would have been seen around a mansion. But take a walk through the gardens at any time of year and there will be beautiful plants of interest to catch your eye. Spring flowering bulbs and vibrant rhododendrons and azaleas awaken the garden from the slumber of winter.

Formal garden

Summer bedding displays in the formal garden complement the plantings of rose bushes and herbaceous perennials.

Beautiful autumn colours in the foliage of trees and shrubs herald the onset of winter. A woodland walk lets you get close to magnificent trees to appreciate the awe and splendour of ancient overseers of Provan Hall.

Bog garden

A bog garden is now managed for wildlife and it supports a wide variety of aquatic plants and animals.
