The Greater Easterhouse Development Company
was set up in 1991 to help local residents
with employment issues, to improve property
and assist with the expansion of local businesses.
It works with a number of other agencies
to help people get jobs, offering advice
and practical help with preparing CV’s
and applications, interview skills, business
start up and training.
Community councils help people with local
issues, and Tenant’s Associations
throughout the area work to improve housing
conditions for the community. A number of
Credit Unions have been set up to give financial
help, and a range of Counselling and Support
Services such as the Easterhouse Alcohol
Information Service give people who need
it a helping hand.
These are just a few of the local organisations
which have been set up. Contact the Greater
Easterhouse Partnership on 0141 771 9338

operating for the people of Greater Easterhouse. |
