Youth Engagement Project

Young People's Steering Group

The Youth Engagement Project wants to make sure that the work they are doing is relevant and meaningful to young people, to do so the Young People’s Steering Group has been set up. The role of the Steering Group will be to give their opinion on what the Youth Engagement Project should and should not be doing, they will also be given the opportunity to visit other projects throughout Scotland to see what other work has been carried out by young people.

Young People taking part in the Young People’s Steering Group will also be provided with support and training to make sure they can take part fully in the work of the project.

If you are a young person and you would like to take part in the Young People’s Steering Group, or if you would like more information on the Young People’s Steering Group then please contact:

Jamie Mallan
Youth Engagement Development Officer
